The Covaris Water Conditioning System (WCS) is an optional accessory for the S-Series, E-Series, and L-Series Focused-ultrasonicators. The WCS circulates the sample processing bath water through both a particulate filter and an ultraviolent (UV) sterilizer to enable the distilled or deionized water to remain clean and free of algae growth for up to one month; both of which will diminish the AFA^® efficiency and reproducibility. The WCS includes a rack for the Focused-ultrasonicator laptop computer to “sit” above the WCS which reduces linear bench space.
